The Friendship Series: The thin lines in friendships

The friendship series will be a series of bi-weekly posts where I will touch upon issues that happen in friendships. I decided to write about this topic because I think at times friendships can be often overlooked or taken for granted. There are millions of books on love, marriage, keeping a boyfriend/ girlfriend but none on maintaining a healthy friendship. Not only will I dig deep into these topics but I will also throw in some real life stories to let you know I’ve been through it and what lessons I have learned (there is nothing better than drawing examples from your own experiences.) Hopefully this series will help you with whatever issues you may be facing with a friend or friends. Whether it be jealousy & competition, trust issues & misunderstandings, drifting apart, relationships and a difference of opinions to name a few. Through this I hope to strengthen a friendship that may be lacking communication (because we all know communication is the basic foundation to every and any relationship, right?!?!), has derailed somewhere down the line, to look at an issue from both sides of the fence or the simple phrase of “I told you so.”

So let me know what topics you would like me to dive into. Or better yet, if you are facing a friendship issue let me know and let’s talk.

“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.” – Muhammad Ali
