I was volun-told by my mom to decorate the Christmas wreath for the door. “Alyssia you have the task of taking care of the wreath. I know you will do a great job with it bud.” I chuckled but took on the task anyways. Somewhere deep inside I was actually a bit excited because I got to put my creative skills to the test plus I had an excuse to head to Michaels.
Pinterest was my go to for inspiration. There was so many different and cool ideas to choose from. I took a few ideas from a few posts and fused them all together.
- Plain Wreath (real or artificial) You can also make your own if your prefer
- Ornaments (Mine had bells inside to make noise)
- Floral arrangements
It took me about 15-20 minutes to compete. I had my glue gun out just in case but I didn’t even end up using it. The ornaments had string attached so I just undid the knot and tied it to the ring of the wreath. I did the same with the floral arrangements as the stems where bendable metal that I was able to secure to the wire.
The possibilities are endless when creating your own wreath. It was a quick mini project but I had so much fun doing it while watching Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Michaels is the go to for all your creative/ decorative needs because they have EVERYTHING! Not to mention the killer deals they have. Right now you can save 50%-70% off all Christmas decor and floral.
*I am not sponsored by Michaels in any way. I just thoroughly enjoy the store*
